The Challenge
Some concepts cannot be explained without showing them in three dimensions.
A jet engine teardown for an aerospace engineering programme. A molecular bonding reaction for a NEET prep platform. A surgical procedure for a healthcare training module. A factory safety protocol for a corporate compliance course. A crop disease cycle for an agricultural skilling programme. A circuit board fault that cannot be seen until the 3D model reveals it.
These are the concepts where text fails, 2D diagrams fall short, and even live photography cannot show what needs to be shown. The inside of a working engine. The molecular geometry of a chemical reaction. The sequence of a surgical intervention. The structural failure point in an industrial component. They need 3D.
Margo Learning produces photorealistic 3D animation and interactive simulation content for higher education institutions, engineering and industrial training programmes, healthcare and medical education, test prep platforms, corporate L&D teams, and vocational skilling organisations. Our 25,000+ SME network ensures that the subject matter behind every 3D animation is technically precise, not approximated from general knowledge, because in technical and scientific content, an inaccurate diagram is worse than no diagram at all.
What We Do
From brief to interactive SCORM-ready simulation, we build it all.
Margo Learning produces 3D animated content for every technical and scientific learning context, building from client-provided reference material, CAD files, and SME-reviewed specifications where available, and from our own SME-guided modelling process where they are not.
We handle the full 3D production pipeline in-house covering concept and script development, storyboarding and technical review, 3D modelling and texturing, rigging and animation, rendering, voiceover recording, post-production, and delivery as either a linear MP4 or a fully interactive SCORM/xAPI compliant module. Every 3D production project has a domain-matched SME assigned from day one, reviewing the technical brief, the modelling approach, the animation sequences, and the final deliverable before it reaches you.

Projects Delivered
What We Deliver
Every 3D animation format, from machinery simulations to interactive environments.
3D Product and Machinery Simulations
Detailed 3D simulations of equipment, tools, and machinery for engineering, manufacturing, industrial, and healthcare training. Features include exploded views, cross-sections, assembly and disassembly sequences, and operational walkthroughs that show how a machine works in a way no photograph or 2D diagram can replicate.
3D Anatomical and Molecular Animations
Photorealistic 3D anatomical walkthroughs, molecular structure animations, cellular process visualisations, and biological mechanism animations for medical, nursing, NEET, and life sciences education. Built with subject-matched medical and life science SMEs from our 25,000+ network to ensure scientific accuracy at every level of detail.
Fault Diagnosis Simulators
Interactive 3D fault diagnosis and troubleshooting simulations for technical, industrial, and engineering training. Learners can manipulate components, identify faults, and practise repair sequences in a simulated environment before working on real equipment. Delivered as SCORM-compliant interactive modules for LMS deployment and full learner tracking.
3D Environment Walkthroughs
Immersive 3D environment simulations for safety training, workplace orientation, architectural visualisation, site induction, and operations training. Learners explore realistic environments, identify hazards, and complete safety protocols before setting foot in a real location, removing risk from the learning process entirely.
3D Process Animations
Step-by-step 3D process animations showing how industrial, chemical, biological, or mechanical processes work from the inside out. Particularly effective for content where the process happens at a scale, speed, or location that cannot be directly observed or safely demonstrated in a live training environment.
Interactive 3D Simulations (SCORM/xAPI)
Fully interactive 3D experiences where learners can manipulate objects, trigger events, make choices, and navigate 3D environments as part of a trackable, assessed learning module. Delivered as SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, or xAPI compliant packages ready for any major LMS with full completion and score tracking.
Our Process
A structured 3D animation pipeline from brief to final delivery.
Step 1 — Brief and Technical Requirement Alignment
We begin with a detailed technical brief session covering the learning objective, subject matter scope, accuracy requirements, interactivity level, reference material availability, and delivery format. For 3D work, SME assignment and reference material sourcing happen at this stage before any creative work begins.
Step 2 — Script, Storyboard and Technical Review
Professional scriptwriting and detailed storyboard development, reviewed and approved by both the client and the assigned subject matter expert before 3D modelling begins. Technical accuracy is locked before production investment is made, not corrected after modelling is complete.
Step 3 — 3D Modelling and Style Approval
3D modelling, texturing, and environment build based on the approved storyboard and all available reference material including CAD files, technical drawings, photographs, and SME guidance. Modelling previews and style frames are presented for approval before rigging, animation, and rendering begin.
Step 4 — Animation, Rendering and Post-Production
Full 3D animation, rigging, and rendering with voiceover recording and audio engineering running in parallel. For interactive 3D modules, interaction logic is built and tested during this stage. Compositing, sound design, and closed captioning are completed before quality review.
Step 5 — SME and Technical Quality Review
Every 3D production goes through a dedicated technical accuracy review by the assigned SME alongside standard instructional, visual, and audio QA. No 3D animation is submitted to the client without SME sign-off on technical content accuracy.
Step 6 — Client Review and Revision
You review all deliverables against agreed criteria. We manage up to two rounds of revisions per module as standard with additional revision rounds available. Feedback is tracked through a centralised review system with clear version control.
Step 7 — Final Delivery and LMS Testing
Final delivery in MP4 for linear video content or SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, or xAPI packages for interactive 3D modules. All interactive modules are tested on your LMS before final handoff, with source files and production documentation included for future updates.

AI in 3D Animation
Faster 3D production. Greater detail. Same accuracy.
Margo Learning integrates AI at key stages of the 3D animation production process to accelerate timelines, reduce pre-production friction, and enable higher-volume 3D delivery without compromising technical accuracy or visual quality. AI accelerates our process. It does not replace the SME review that makes every 3D animation technically defensible.
- AI-powered 3D asset generation for faster modelling of standard objects, environments, and components.
- AI-assisted storyboard generation for faster pre-production on complex technical 3D projects.
- AI-assisted style frame generation for rapid visual concept exploration before full 3D build commitment.
- AI-generated draft voiceover for rapid prototype and client preview before final voice recording.
- AI-assisted closed captioning for all 3D animated video deliverables across all language versions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions.
Every 3D animation project is assigned a subject-matched SME from our 25,000+ network. For engineering content that means engineers with specific domain expertise. For anatomy that means medical or life sciences specialists. The SME reviews the technical brief, the storyboard, the modelling previews, and the final animation at each production stage before sign-off. Technical accuracy is not a final check. It is built into every stage of the process.
