High-quality courseware development across every format, every complexity level, and every delivery platform.
A well-designed curriculum needs equally well-produced content to deliver it. At Margo Learning, we develop complete courseware for K-12 publishers, universities, corporate L&D teams, vocational training bodies, and EdTech platforms, from foundational PDFs and eBooks to fully immersive 3D simulations and adaptive gamified learning journeys. Backed by a 25,000+ SME network and an experienced in-house production team, we build every content asset to the highest standard and deliver it SCORM and xAPI compliant, WCAG 2.1 accessible, and tested on your LMS before handover.

The Challenge
Most courseware gets completed. Very little of it actually teaches anything.
The difference between content that learners click through and content that genuinely changes what they know, think, and do is almost always a production problem, not a subject matter problem. The facts are right but the format is wrong. The topic is covered but the learning objective is not achieved. The module is finished but the learner cannot apply what they just went through.
Courseware development done well is not content production. It is learning engineering. It requires the right subject matter expertise at the right depth, applied through the right instructional framework, built in the right format for the right audience and delivered on the right platform. Every one of those variables matters and every one of them is where most organisations make compromises they cannot afford.
Margo Learning handles all of them. Our production team builds courseware inside the instructional frameworks our designers specify, with subject matter content developed and reviewed by domain-matched SMEs from our 25,000+ network, produced to the highest visual and technical standard, and delivered ready to deploy on any major LMS.
What We Do
From approved curriculum design to LMS-ready delivery, we build it all.
Margo Learning develops complete courseware for every context, every audience type, and every delivery platform. We work at every complexity level from foundational static content to fully immersive, gamified, adaptive learning experiences, and we handle every stage of the production lifecycle in-house.
We take your approved curriculum design or learning objectives and build all the content assets required to deliver them. We assign domain-matched SMEs from our 25,000+ network to develop and review all subject matter. Our instructional designers apply proven pedagogical frameworks to ensure the content does not just inform but actually teaches. Our production team builds every asset to the highest quality standard covering writing, design, animation, interaction development, voiceover recording, and LMS packaging. And we deliver everything SCORM and xAPI compliant, WCAG 2.1 accessible, and tested on your specific LMS before handover.

Our Process
A structured, transparent production process from brief to delivery.
Step 1 — Discovery and Scoping
We begin with a detailed discovery session covering your learning objectives, target audience, existing content assets or curriculum design, technical requirements, LMS platform, timeline, and budget. We define the production scope, recommend the right complexity level, and agree on the production approach before anything is built.
Step 2 — Low-Level Design Development
Our instructional designers develop the Low-Level Design for every module, translating the curriculum blueprint or learning objectives into a detailed content map showing every screen, interaction, assessment item, and media asset required, which you review and approve before production begins.
Step 3 — SME Assignment and Content Development
We assign domain-matched SMEs from our 25,000+ network to develop all subject matter content. SME-produced content goes through editorial QA before being passed to our instructional designers for framework application and production handoff.
Step 4 — Production
Our production team builds all course assets including writing, design, animation, interaction development, voiceover recording, and LMS packaging, following the approved LLD and working within your brand guidelines and technical specifications.
Step 5 — Quality Assurance
Every module goes through a multi-stage QA process covering SME accuracy review, instructional design review, editorial QA, visual QA, and technical LMS testing before it is submitted for your review.
Step 6 — Client Review and Revision
You review all deliverables against agreed review criteria. We manage up to two rounds of revisions per module as standard with additional revision rounds available. All feedback is tracked through a centralised review system.
Step 7 — Final Delivery
Final approved modules are delivered as SCORM or xAPI packages, tested on your LMS, and accompanied by a full handover pack including source files, style guides, and production documentation for future updates and re-versioning.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions.
Curriculum development is the design phase. It defines what will be learned, in what order, to what standard, and assessed in what way. Courseware development is the production phase. It builds the actual content assets that deliver the curriculum. Both are essential and distinct. Margo Learning offers both as a combined end-to-end service or as separate engagements depending on what your project requires.
